Role and Responsibilities
Candidates should possess a diploma in Environmental Sciences. They should have a good understanding of electronics related to air monitoring such as Teledyne analyzers, and have a thorough understanding of the air quality regulations in both BC and Alberta.
Candidates are expected to:
- Maintain air monitoring equipment to manufacturers specifications
- Ensure Downwind Air Monitoring units are functioning correctly, and ready for deployment.
- Understand generated data, and be able to write reports associated with that data.
- Research/Develop equipment associated to the business.
- Work with a team of technicians to ensure projects are being completed efficiently.
- Work directly on revenue generating jobs, as well as in the shop working on equipment.
- Be able to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical persons.

This is a safety sensitive position and the candidate must complete and clear a pre-employment drug test.
