Upcoming Basic Life Support Training

Course Length: 4 Hours
Start Time: 8:00am sharp
Cost: $160 + GST
Location: Trojan Safety Training Centre, 11116 Tahltan Road, Fort St. John, BC

The Heart & Stroke Foundation program is a 4 hour session, a including coffee break. In order to be successful, candidates must demonstrate practical skill competency and achieve 84% on a multiple choice exam. On successful completion of the course, participants receive their annual certification and 2 Continuing Education Credits if required

To register and complete the course, you will need to have:

• Photo ID, or 2 non-photo gov’t issued ID’s

This Course Covers:

• Chain of Survival
• 1-rescuer / 2-rescuer CPR
• High-quality chest compressions with a feedback device
• Multi-rescuer team CPR
• Adult, Child and Infant CPR and relief of choking
• Use of an AED
• Effective ventilations using a barrier device and bag-mask device
• EXPANDED: Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
• NEW: Role of the CPR coach;  Maternal cardiac arrest;  Anaphylaxis;  Drowning;  Heart attack and stroke;  and, Other life-threatening emergencies

Please let us know at least 24 hours (1 business day) before your course date if you need to cancel your booking, otherwise, you will be charged a $100 No-Show fee.
