Transportation Endorsement Course

Course Length: 7 hours

The WorkSafeBC-approved Transportation Endorsement course is a 7-hour program (excluding coffee and lunch breaks). To earn your 3-year certification, you must demonstrate practical skill competency. This certification is only valid if the attendant maintains a current First Aid – Basic, First Aid – Intermediate, or equivalent certificate.

To register and complete the Transportation Endorsement course, you will need to:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Provide government-issued photo ID
• Hold a current First Aid – Basic or First Aid – Intermediate certification or an equivalent certificate

This transportation endorsement training course covers patient care and transportation procedures, including:

• The role of the first aid attendant and the priority action approach
• Principles of transportation
• Packaging a conscious patient
• Packaging an unconscious patient
• Caring for a patient while in transport

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations for the Transportation Endorsement course must be made at least 24 hours (1 business day) before the scheduled course date. A $100 No-Show fee will be charged for cancellations made after this deadline or for failure to attend.
