Indigenous Relations
Trojan Safety has been providing safety services for the Oil and Gas, Mining, Pulp & Paper, Forestry and Construction industries in Western Canada for over 20 years. During this time, Trojan has developed several long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with local Indigenous communities throughout the western provinces. These relationships are based on mutual trust and respect for traditional territories and individuals, and are focused on further development within the communities through direct and meaningful community involvement.

Blueberry River First Nations
In the Spring of 2018, Trojan Safety signed a working agreement with the Blueberry River First Nations to provide specialized health, safety and environmental services for operations taking place on their lands encompassed by Treaty 8 in the Province of British Columbia. Trojan will work alongside the Blueberry River First Nations to help fulfill their vision, as a self-governing nation, of ensuring an enhanced quality of life for current and future generations of their people to develop a sustainable, self reliant and vibrant community that is built upon their traditional and forward thinking values.
As a responsible partner and organization, Trojan will operate in a way to ensure Blueberry River First Nations’ mission of asserting their
right of self-governance for the benefit of all current and future generations of their people, and exercise that right by building capable
governing institutions and economics that align with their culture and values is always respected.
Trojan will remain committed to honouring the Blueberry River First Nation’s values of Respect, Pride, Inclusiveness, Responsibility during
all operations and involvement within the community.
