RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a technology used to monitor the location and movement of individuals within a specific area using RFID tags, cards, or mobile devices. Employees will typically scan their card, tag, or mobile device with RFID readers installed at strategic locations on a job site, allowing for real-time tracking and historical data analysis.
Required certifications can be customized for each site. If a worker’s certificate requirements aren’t met, either missing or expired, the system will signal to the worker to report to the on-site system administrator to either enter or update their certificates.
