Course Length: 8 Hours Start Time: 8:00am sharp Cost: $175 (Including GST) Location: Trojan Safety Training Centre, 11116 Tahltan Road, Fort St. John, BC   The WorkSafe BC Basic First Aid course is a 8 hour program, including coffee and lunch breaks.   • You need to be early for each session, by at least 15 minutes.
  • You need to attend ALL sessions, otherwise, you will not be eligible for certification.
  • If you miss any sessions, there will be no refund for your space in the course.

If you have any additional questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the office.

NOTE: You must bring a piece of Photo ID, You will receive your permanent certificate upon successful completion at the end of class.

First Aid – Advanced – 2026

There is IMPORTANT INFORMATION that you need to know to be successful in completing your OFA3 course.

  • You need to be early for each session, by at least 15 minutes.
  • You need to attend ALL sessions, otherwise, you will not be eligible for certification.
  • If you miss any sessions, there will be no refund for your space in the course.
  • There is REQUIRED pre-reading, approximately 3 hours of homework/prereading each night.
  • Upon receiving this confirmation email, you will be required to come to the office and pick up your books IN ADVANCE to begin the pre-reading. It is recommended that you complete all the pre-reading prior to the first lesson.
  • Dress comfortably and appropriately, we recommend knee pads, clean indoor shoes, water bottle and a good attitude.
  • You MUST have a watch with a “seconds” timer for timing breathing and pulse rates. A cell phone is not an acceptable substitute.
  • You will need to bring your entire book and contents with you to each class
