Q: Is relocation a must?
A: No, but it is encouraged.

Q: Does the company have temporary housing available?
A: We do not provide housing for employees, but we do offer new employees two weeks of free accommodations in our staff apartment so that they have time to find accomodations in the area.

**You must provide your own bedding, towel and basic necesities while staying at the apartment.**

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Trojan Safety has been providing Industrial First Aid Attendants, H2S Safety and Industrial Fire Fighters for the oil and gas industry for the past 19 years.

Q: How many branches does Trojan Safety have?
A: We have branches in Fort St. John, Grande Prairie, Red Deer, and Weyburn.

Q: Which tickets am I required to have prior to employment?
A: All oilfield jobs will require you to possess 5 basic tickets, including: H2S Alive, Occupational First Aid Level 1 or better, WHMIS, TDG and PST or IRP 16 equivalent. We require you to have your H2S Alive, and OFA-1. Upon successful interview, we will arrange for you get the other three at our expense.

**H2S Alive and OFA-1 courses are readily available in Fort St. John and other oil and gas towns. If you are having a hard time finding a course, then we would recommend that you take them at one of our training centres.**

Q: Does Trojan Safety offer training?
A: Yes, Trojan Safety is an Enform and Worksafe BC accredited training facility, offering H2S Alive, OFA-1, TDG, PST, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space, and Fire Extinguisher training.

Q: Will there be camp work?
A: Yes, many of the sites are in remote locations too far from an urban center, requiring personnel to stay in a camp or on-site.

Q: What do I have to bring with me when I go to work with Trojan?
A: You should be sure to bring steel toed CSA approved boots, cold weather gear, gloves, any oilfield tickets, banking information, a towel, and bedding.

**Hoodies are not an accepted article of clothing on most oilfield locations. When choosing cold weather gear, choose long-sleeves without a hood.**

Q: What does Trojan provide me when I go to work?
A: Trojan will provide you with Nomex fire-retardant coveralls, safety glasses, and a hard hat.

Q: Is there shop work or other work available if I am not being called out to work in the field?
A: Yes. The shop staff can often use a hand with equipment maintance.
